Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems
Dave is currently employed by Raytheon Company as a principal energy engineer. He is a member of the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Energy Team responsible for energy management of the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business, which includes almost 5 million square feet of office, laboratory and manufacturing facilities. He also has a key role with Raytheon’s company-wide energy team and has managed Raytheon’s ENERGY STAR partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy.
Dave has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire
(1984) and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University (1989). He
is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts, and a Certified
Energy Manager (CEM) with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He previously worked as a mechanical engineer for Raytheon Company in Sudbury, MA, from 1985-1991, then as a general engineer for the U.S. Department of Energy in Boston, MA, from 1991-1997.
Dave was recognized as the 2014 Energy Engineer of the Year by the New England Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers, and received an Environmental Merit Award from EPA New England in 2016. He also volunteers with Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL), a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.
