2013 show host PGW...
For more than 175 years, the Philadelphia
Gas Works (PGW) has proudly served the City of Philadelphia.
As the largest municipally owned natural gas utility in the
country, PGW provides green energy to approximately 500,000
residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers.
It has a distribution system of approximately 6,000 miles
of gas mains and service pipes, and is managed by the Philadelphia
Facilities Management Corporation PFMC, a non-profit corporation.
